Integrated Healing with Eastern and Western Traditions
Dr. Carter uses natural methods from Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Functional Medicine to care for your body, mind and nervous systems. This blended approach is ideal-especially for patients who suffer conditions that have not been completely relieved by Western Medicine alone.
Classical acupuncture is a holistic system of medicine that treats the root causes of imbalance and disease. Excellent for treating illness, acupuncture is also useful for physical maintenance and generating a sense of well-being that comes from energetic balance. The body is a natural healer. By working with the body’s innate ability to heal itself, we are able to restore health. This can happen quickly and without the need for medications that may have unwanted side effects.
Dr. Carter received her Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from the Canadian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist and has studied extensively with internationally recognized acupuncturists for over three decades. Dr. Carter provides highly personalized classical acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
While her primary Acupuncture approach centers on Five-Element Acupuncture, Dr. Carter employs a wide variety of Acupuncture techniques, ensuring that her patients receive the most effective treatments possible.
